DAILY NEWSPAPERS
JP/Politikens Hus was established on January 1, 2003 as a merger between A/S Dagbladet Politiken and Jyllands-Posten A/S. The Group publishes Ekstra Bladet, Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten and Politiken, which are the three most read daily newspapers in Denmark.
As a result of significant efforts on the digital front in recent years, the three dailies have a leading position on the Internet and mobile platforms. The main digital activities include ekstrabladet.dk, jp.dk and politiken.dk.
In 2009, the main priorities have included a further development of leading positions in the digital and mobile areas, and the integration of online television in the communication of news, sports, cars, entertainment and many other areas.
The three daily newspapers are the cornerstones of the Group’s business operations, and the vast majority of Group revenue comes from its newspaper activities.
