Jobzonen (40 PCT.)
Jobzonen.dk was established on October 4, 1998. The initiator was Berlingske Online, later Metropol Online (owned by the former Berlingske Officin now Berlingske Media, JydskeVestkysten and Århus Stiftstidende). In 2001, Metropol Online and Morgenavisen Jyllands-Posten entered into a financial cooperation regarding jobzonen.dk, and in August 2001, Jobzonen was converted into a limited company (A/S).
Market position
Jobzonen is one of Denmark’s largest online job services with a broad selection of job advertisements from the country’s leading national, regional and local newspapers. Jobzonen was re-launched in the beginning of 2007 with focus on user-friendliness. Jobzonen has 275,000 users per month and many job providers advertise on the site every day.
Jobzonen is also established on the mobile platform with m.jobzonen.dk to be used for job seeking. The mobile version of Jobzonen is fully integrated with the Internet-based version. The same login information is used both on the digital and the mobile platform, and the user receives the same information. m.jobzonen.dk furthermore has an attached text service (sms) with announcement of interesting job postings.
Employees
In the spring of 2010 the company had 30 employees. Of these 25 worked out of Copenhagen and 5 out of Århus.
Social commitment
Jobzonen supports the Danish Cancer Society and the Association for Children with Cancer.
Ownership
Jobzonen is owned by JP/Politikens Hus (40%), Berlingske Media (46%) and TV 2 (14%).
