JP/Politikens Forlagshus A/S, which is domiciled in Politikens Hus, is the registered office of Politikens Forlag, Jyllands-Postens Forlag, Ekstra Bladets Forlag as well as Politikens Boghal and boghallen.dk. The company is one of Denmark’s major publishing houses.

Market position
JP/Politikens Forlagshus A/S has a broad readership as the target group for the publication of travel books, handbooks, non-fiction, hobby books, business books, memoirs and biographies, fiction and children’s books. In addition, journalistic books are published in cooperation with Politiken, Jyllands-Posten and Ekstra Bladet.

The publication programme includes 225 annual titles and is highly commercial with strong emphasis on bestsellers.

Since 2000, the publishing house has displayed major organic growth witha revitalisation of established publication areas as well as the development of new areas including Internet-based activities such as tgt.dk and boghallen.dk in cooperation with JP/Politikens Hus.

JP/Politikens Forlagshus A/S is a wholly owned subsidiary of JP/Politikens Hus A/S.
