Politikens Forlag was founded in 1936 and is one of Denmark’s leading publishing houses with a long tradition for the development of high quality books in cooperation with recognised authors.

The yearbook Hvem-Hvad-Hvor (Who-What-Where), the travel series Turen går til (The travel goes to), Politikens Håndbøger (handbooks) and Politikens Ordbøger (dictionaries) are sold year after year to thousands of Danish homes. In cooperation with Politiken’s journalists, Politikens Forlag also issues books such as Mærsk, Nynne and ATS in addition to current journalistic titles, memoirs and biographies, Danish and translated fiction and children’s books by leading Danish and foreign authors.

Politikens Forlag is part of JP/Politikens Forlagshus A/S.
